Washington DC

Here we are in Washington DC, we flew in around 11am from Nova Scotia then we had appointments with AML (Australian Meat and Livestock, US office) and another meeting at the NZ Embassy.
We were on the way back to our hotel in a Taxi and Joe Biden the US Vice President drove past with about 20 police and security vehicles all around him. The police pushed all the oncoming traffic away from the centre of the road and we waited for the motorcade to pass. The taxi driver took it in his stride and said Joe Biden lives just a mile or so from where we saw him. (that is the only reason I knew who it was ie the taxi driver) I cannot imagine the carry on for Obama after seeing the Vice President in transit.
