watching the clock

Its currently 4.47 AM and I am wide awake. We had a good day yesterday (Sunday) we started with a get together of the European scholars and all the Aussies and the three from NZ.
We then travelled to a rugby game between London Irish and Leicester,it was a great game and I even think the Victorians and those from WA secretly enjoyed themselves.
We all started to fade late in the day and after dinner in a local pub we were early in bed.
I am annoyed that I am not asleep although hopefuly I will get another hour before we need to get up.
I mentioned in a previous post that James Hassall (the Hoff) was posting a NZ run down although it is not up on his blog yet. I will check it out at breakfast.
Today is an exciting day,we spend a large part of the day at the House of Lords and then move on to a reception by the high commissioner of New Zealand to welcome the 2009Scholars.
The Duke of Gloucester will also be in attendance,he is the patron of the Nuffield Farming Scolarships Trust.
Anyway best to try and get another hours sleep
